About Me

Jenblossom is a nickname given to me by a dear friend back home many years ago.

I'm originally from Detroit, Michigan, but I currently reside in Brooklyn, New York with my husband and our two awesome cats.

I love to cook. You can read about our day-to-day culinary adventures at Last Night's Dinner, and find some of my other food writing at gastronome and ChronicBabe.com.

I also like to take lots and lots of pictures – usually of the things I cook, the cats, or the husband.

This is a personal blog, and as such you can expect to see things of little importance to anybody other than me, or my husband, or our cats, and you should also expect incoherent diatribes or self-indulgent wallowing from time to time. It's cheaper than therapy, and you can choose not to read if it bugs you.
