Well, sorta. We returned to work on Tuesday, and we've both had busy weeks (plus, I have to work this weekend), but I'm still on Cloud 9, in no small part from looking at the amazing photos our supertalented and amazing friends took for us of our wedding weekend.

My wrap-up is below... and beware, for it is lengthy.

We were incredibly lucky to have so many people with cameras (and mad skillz) taking pictures over our wedding weekend... some are online as we speak, and I believe more are forthcoming. Go here to check 'em out.

7/21/2003:

Another amazing weekend, and another two weeks until I get to see him again. Leaving continues to get more difficult each time... I think I leave a little bit more of my heart there each time, too.

I still don't know for certain if it will happen, or if so, when... but I'm thinking seriously about making that lifelong dream of living in NYC a reality at some point very soon... I've got more reasons to now than I ever had before. But we'll see... it's something we've just started talking about over the last couple of weeks...

There are a lot of things to think about, and like I said, I've really just started to think about them... but it's exciting, and I guess it's another step forward in this relationship. I've still never been happier.

Just a few more weeks of this. A few. more. weeks. Okay, more like a month and a half, but an end is in sight. Thank heaven. These last weeks of distance and traveling and craziness are going to be rough. I just want to be there NOW.

We said goodbye on the F train this morning; he had jury duty, and I had to meet with the new office manager in New York to talk about my possible transfer. My stop was after his. He started kissing me goodbye one stop before he had to get off... and as he exited the train and the doors closed and I watched him walking away, I thought my god... this is how it could be. We're like a normal couple, taking the subway together, drinking our coffee and kissing goodbye and going our separate ways for the day... pretty darn cool.
