I am so completely in love with this album I almost can't stand it. Seriously, it's like I'm 12 again, sitting in my bedroom playing the same record over and over again on the turntable every available waking hour. I can't stop listening.
Being able to listen to Canadian radio when I lived in Detroit was always such a treat, and this has reminded me how much I miss it. I could have been listening to new Sloan for months now.

Since about 3:30 this morning, we have been treated to this:
Mike called 311 shortly before 7 a.m. to report it, and the operator transferred him to 911, where a very rude operator told him that it had already been reported, cops had already been out to the location, and then she hung up on him. About 10 minutes later, we did see a squad car pull up, but they were only there briefly and didn't even leave a ticket.
Oh, wait.
Explains a lot, doesn't it?
